Our Story
Founded and run by two brothers, TAILSMEN was created to leave behind the corporate grind and build something truly personal, which is a business where the wellbeing of dogs comes first.

We offer a professional dog daycare service with reliable pick-up and drop-off, designed for busy dog owners who want peace of mind knowing their pets are in safe, loving hands. As co-founders, we’re personally involved in every aspect of the business, from morning pickups to evening drop-offs, because we know that the care of your dog isn’t just part of our service, it’s the foundation of our success.

Co-Founder
With over 16 years of experience working for a housing association, I have built a strong background in health & safety, fire safety, estate services, and general maintenance. While the work was steady, the typical 9 to 5 never offered the fulfilment I truly wanted. Starting this dog daycare with my brother is more than just a career change. It’s a chance to create something meaningful, building a family-run business, and one day involve my two sons, Mason and Joel, in a venture that’s all about care, community, and of course, dogs.

Co-Founder
After studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Surrey, I spent several years in the corporate world, eventually qualifying and working as an accountant. While the experience was valuable, I always felt something was missing. I wanted a career that felt more personal, active, and rewarding. Starting a dog daycare with my brother has been the launch board to start that journey.
